Solutions for industry

Competitive thanks to green energy.

Industry reimagined.

East Energy Group

Challenges

in industry

High energy and production costs

Energy prices are rising, electricity is a key cost factor

Peak loads lead to high grid fees

Production losses due to unreliable supply

Climate protection pressure from legislators and customers

CSR, ESG, and EU taxonomy requirements call for CO₂ reduction

Major customers demand green supply chains

Climate neutrality by 2045 is becoming mandatory, not optional

Confusing options & technological leaps

PV, storage, eFuels, waste heat utilization—but what is right for the location?

Lack of internal expertise in energy systems

Risk of misinvestment in expensive technology

Complex approvals and funding landscape

Energy projects often involve a marathon of bureaucracy

No implementation without external partners

Our solutions for industries

On-site energy generation

Roof and ground-mounted PV systems for production halls or warehouses

Integration of wind turbines where suitable space is available

Battery storage to reduce peak loads and provide backup power

Direct supply or contracting models

Efficient use of process heat and waste heat

Power-to-heat: converting electricity into industrial process heat

Waste heat utilization through heat exchangers and recirculation

Combination with heat storage systems for demand-oriented use

Use of eFuels & green hydrogen

eMethanol as a process agent or substitute for fossil fuels

Hydrogen integration for high-temperature processes

Supply via own PtX plant or through contracting

Support with EEW, BEW, PtX, KTF, and EU funding programs

Creation of a decarbonization roadmap

Implementation of measures: technical, economic, legal

Typical application examples

in industry

Energy-intensive production processes with

high electricity consumption (e.g., mechanical engineering, foundries)

Solutions:

Installation of large-scale PV systems on hall roofs and adjacent open spaces with battery storage for peak load capping. Optional: Integration into an energy management system (EMS) for optimizing self-consumption.

Result:

Reduction in energy costs by up to 40%, stabilization of load profiles, lower grid fees, lower CO₂ emissions. Eligible for EEW funding.

Heat-intensive processes in the medium temperature range (e.g., food industry, textiles, chemicals)

Solutions:

Use of power-to-heat systems (electric steam generators, high-temperature heat pumps) powered by self-generated electricity from PV or wind. Combination with heat storage for flexible use.

Result:

Fossil fuels are replaced, CO₂ savings are directly measurable. Operating costs are reduced, production becomes climate-friendly and future-proof.

Hall lighting, office complexes, and charging infrastructure for factory fleets

Solution:

Combined self-supply for non-production areas: LED conversion, electric vehicle charging points, controlled by PV power and storage solution. EMS regulates priorities and charging capacities.

Result:

100% self-sufficiency in power supply for vehicle fleet and administrative infrastructure possible. Ancillary costs reduced. Sustainability can be communicated internally and externally in a visible manner.

Use of industrial waste heat (e.g., metal processing, paper, plastics processing)

Solution:

Integration of heat recovery systems: waste heat exchangers, buffer storage tanks, feed-in to internal or municipal heating networks. Combination with smart grid connection.

Result:

Visible waste heat becomes a valuable resource. Heating costs are reduced, and additional revenue can be generated through feed-in. Contribution to sector coupling and municipal supply.
